Has anyone else notice that Beta 3 bleeps every time you put in Punycode. It even does this with the Whois at domainsite.com

Don't really know. I have largely been using Firefox and because I have double screens Tabbed Browsing has never been a big hit with me.

Sounds like that could be a unique marketing
angle to me :-) ...IDN's are sure to be worth a
lot more because of that little 'wake up' feature.
Seriously 'though, I am a little weary of trying it
out...

But anyway, is there anything else to report, with
the Beta.. or is it just minor 'cosmetic' changes?

Actually my computer has been acting a bit funny since Beta 2. I have kept loosing the mouse and had windows open unexpectedly.

This seems to have got worse with Beta 3. Windows opening up all over the place, mouse going into scroll mode etc. I am not sure that is not because I am primarily still using Firefox, but I suspect there is some kind of compatibility issues with Firefox, which may even be contrived.

Possibly. I too have had some comp probs, which
may be attributable to Beta 2...

I do like Firefox and hope they stay around for a
while, because they have clearly been the 'motivator'
behind MS developing IE7 - bit of a shame really, to
come to that conclusion but there you go.

One of the things I think is really important, is MS's
new found commitment to IE and an accelerated
program of development/release.

Anyway, B3 coming out is news for celebration (!),
as the full release is now not that far away... (I
wonder how the UK media will report on it; shouldn't
be a prob. I would've thought, Rupert Murdoch is
supposedly mates with Bill Gates, so that's half
the media already taken care of...).

Murdoch will have one eye on his advertising budget. Murdoch is not the sort of guy I would want to be mates with.
